I was a little skeptical as a NYC-based foodie but this place very pleasantly surprised me. There's a low-key vibe, mellow lighting, music is the perfect volume, nice staff. But the highlight is definitely the pasta - I maybe wouldn't come here for the "entrees" (salads seemed decent) it's really all about the fresh pastas. The gnocchi romana isn't quite like anything I've had before and was the type of dish I'll tell friends and family about. Well balanced with the chili in it! The papardelle also was very good with some mint. I would absolutely come back, want to try the pesto next time!
It is our first time at this restaurant. The staff and service were amazing! We got to sit upstairs and watch the chefs do their magic. It was really fun to watch. The food was awesome. Pastas were cooked al dente and both appetizer and dessert were wonderful. The portion of the pasta is big so it took awhile to finish a plate. Also, they are moving away from tipping and charge 22% service gratuity into the bill so it is up to you if you want to tip. I'd love to come back here again to try out something else in the menu.

We chose Tavolata Belltown for our marriage celebration dinner last weekend and it exceeded all expectations! The location, seating layout, ambiance, and beautiful aesthetic were the initial draws, but we were most impressed by how much the staff helped to make the night so special! Manager Sean Ellick and his event planning team took great care in helping us coordinate the all the details leading up to our event and made sure that everything was perfect. On the night of, Sean and the entire front of house staff were incredibly welcoming and took wonderful care of everyone during the entirety of our event. In the open kitchen, Chef James ‘Juice’ Sebenoler and his staff put on a show and delivered a meal that elevated the experience for everyone! Every single one of the staff working our event were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make everyone’s night comfortable and enjoyable! Eternally thankful for a night that will be forever a core memory for us and our guests and will make it a point to come back as often as we can. Would recommend a visit to Tavolata Belltown for any occasion, big or small!

We went here for Christmas Eve for a date night. Loved the romantic lighting and smooth music. Service was good. FOOD WAS AMAZING. We got the Carbonara and the Butternut Squash Ravioli and both meals were executed well. Also they have a wonderful selection of wines that can pair with your meal. If not they have a bunch of mix drink options. It is on the pricey side but it’s so worth it.
[Food] Drink: Spicy Dead Lady & Golden Hour The spicy dead lady was a strong drink, I recommend another cocktail if you like sweeter drinks. The golden hour was good, it was definitely on the bitter side. Appetizer: Bruschetta The crostini was nice and crunchy, the smoked fish was creamy, and the pickled onions gave it a nice balance between creamy and salty. Main course: Pappardelle My pasta was delicious! I ate the entire thing, I added some cheese and chili flakes. It added extra flavors to make it absolutely perfect! [Service] The server was nice and welcoming. [Atmosphere] The restaurant was dark and cozy. We had a reservation and did not wait to be seated.
Wonderful place. I was here for a private event and got to try several dishes. Everything was great (salad, pasta, meatballs, salmon) and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Would love to come back!
I came in and sat at the bar for a quick martini and bite of food before heading back to my hotel. Jada was the bartender and she was awesome! She had a super sweet personality and a great attitude despite the happy hour rush. She was very attentive with not only myself, but everyone else at the bar and including her coworkers who were eager for their tables drinks. Although I live in Portland, next time I am in town I will be sure to stop by and see her!
Bruschetta Burrata is WILD made with great care and fresh ingredients, so good we got two orders. Cesar had fresh lettuce and dressed well. Happy hour is of good value too! The dude running the food was super friendly and waitress was chill too
